We do normally flash plating, and sometimes gold plating/rose gold plating may wear off over a period of time. And we make micron plating for our some EU customers.
What is Flash Plating?: Jewelry with an extremely thin layer of gold (<0.175 microns) that is applied through electroplating. This is not high quality of plating for some big companies we work.
What is Micron Plating?: In standard terms, heavy gold plating refers to items that have between 0.5 microns up to 3 microns of gold plating. Standard gold plating is usually about 0.5 to 1 micron.
Micron plating provide thicker layer of gold over sterling silver. If we make micron plating for jewelry they will last longer than flash plating.
